[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Managing Council Members of the Peenya Industries Association (PIA), led by President-elect Sri. M M Giri, Hon Secretary Sri Muralikrishna, B, Jt. Secretary Sri Danappa, and MCM Sri Rajgopal visited the Bengaluru Electric Supply Company (BESCOM) sub-station at NG Halli. The BESCOM has
installed a new transformer there and its set-up work is in full swing.
The PIA officials also met Sri Adishesha, Executive Engineer, Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL), and Sri Narayana, Assistant Executive Engineer and his team of technical staff at the NG Halli sub-station.
Peenya and the surrounding areas have been often troubled by power outages when the industries have been working, thus affecting the industrial process and cascading delays in fulfilment of customer orders. Power outages and fluctuations are also potentially damaging to the equipment, machinery, computer systems and other instruments that depend on electricity.
