About Peenya Industrial Estate
Peenya, in north-west Bengaluru, with about 20,000 industries in a 45 square-kilometre area, is now one of the largest industrial areas in South Asia. The rapid growth of this locality, along with its various problems, led to the formation of the Peenya Industries Association (PIA) in 1978.
The Peenya Industries Association safeguards interests of all the industries in and around Peenya, and actively involves in the promotion of the member industries. Peenya has earned national and international recognition as one of the front-line industrial areas and manufacturing hubs.
To nurture the reputation of Peenya as an industrial hub, the Peenya Industries Association has been proactively involving itself in many issues ranging from civic issues requiring interaction with government agencies to various government policies that could benefit or negatively affect the business of the micro, small and medium industries (MSMEs) in and around Peenya.
