CM asks DCs to identify lands for industrial clusters

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy asked deputy commissioners of seven districts to identify land for establishing industrial clusters, as per the budget announcement earlier this month.
He also asked the DCs to do everything necessary to accomplish the land conversion process for approved industries across the state.
The chief minister had announced that the government would develop Kalaburagi as “Bharat Solar District”. This would be a manufacturing hub of solar panels, inverters, capacitors and laminators.
In addition, the chief minister also put forth the setting up of household LED lights manufacturing industry in Chitradurga, bathroom floor tiles and sanitary goods manufacturing in Hassan, toys manufacturing cluster in Koppal, an ICB manufacturing units in Mysuru, textile industries in Ballari, mobile phone component manufacturing industry in Chikkaballapur, and sport and fitness goods industry in Tumakuru.
Kumaraswamy had a two-day review meeting with the DCs and chief executive officers of Jilla Panchayats. He then said that the government would set up skill development centres in all districts with an intention of creating one lakh jobs in each district.
The chief minister said that the government has decided to create reserve funds of INR 3 crore to 4 crore in each district for emergency use.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
