Sri. Manjunath (JD(S)), Member of the Legislative Assembly from the T Dasarahalli constituency, visited the Peenya Industry Association (PIA) office on 2 August 2018.
PIA officials, led by President Sri. Malyadri Reddy, PIA Hon. Secretary Sri. Muralikrishna B., PIA office bearers and Managing Council Members had an effective interactive meeting with the legislator in the conference room. The PIA president submitted a memorandum to Sri. Manjunath, on behalf of the industry fraternity in and around Peenya.
Peenya, one of the biggest industrial area in South Asia, has its share of civic problems, such as bad and non-asphalted roads, garbage, water-logging during rainy seasons, traffic issues including haphazard parking of Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) buses at Jalahalli Cross signal, non-functional streetlights, sewage, and more.
T Dasarahalli (Tumkur Road Dasarahalli), located on the Mumbai-Bengaluru-Chennai National Highway, is also known as Peenya Dasarahalli. It was a City Municipal Council before; it is now under Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP). With the delimitation of assembly constituencies, Dasarahalli became an assembly constituency.
