ESI introduces Paperless Registration

It’s no more a headache with the bother of filing application, giving supporting documents, etc. You can get your Employees registered under ESI Act online directly through portal www.esic.in. No hard copies or application or supporting documents are required to be submitted either during registration or anytime after it.
Welcoming the initiative by ESIC, R. Krishnamurthy, President, PIA, drew the attention of the Members to the fact that “Registration is done online in real time without any manual intervention of any official of ESIC. On successful completion of the information, the Employer’s code is generated automatically and displayed on the screen with facility to print a copy of the Registration Letter (C-11). A copy of the system generated Registration Letter along with the User ID and Password is sent to the email ID of the Employer immediately,” he said, and urged the Members to take full advantage of the initiative.
As per a release from ESIC, in case of Manpower Suppliers, Contractors and Security Agencies, Employers are required to pay six months advance contribution through the link made available on successful submission of the online information from where online payment can be made through any of the 58 Banks listed on the website. The C-11, User ID and Password are sent to the Employer’s email ID on realization of the payment. The Registration Letter is not required to be signed by any official of the ESIC as it is computer generated and is valid for all purposes. Once the User ID and Password is received, the Employers can do all online activities for making compliance under ESI Act.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
