[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Here is a reason why you as an Employer should get your Employee enrolled in EPF. The EPFO’s Employees Enrolment Campaign from Jan to March 2017 is a
PIA President Sri R. Krishnamurthy has appealed to all the Members and small entrepreneurs in Peenya to avail of the incentives available to them under the campaign.
As per the campaign only such employees who are alive, who furnish Form-11 to the Employer and who was required/entitled to become a member of Employees’ Provident Fund on or after 01/04.2009 and before 01.01.2017 but could not be enrolled as member for any reason are eligible. International Workers are not covered in this category.
Incentives to the Employer:
* No administrative charges in respect of the contribution made under the declaration by the Employer during the campaign period
* A token amount of One Rupee per year in respect of the employees for whom declaration has been made by the Employer
* If Employee’ share of contribution has not been deducted by the Employer then it need not be paid
* The declaration shall be treated bona-fide unless proved otherwise and no inspection for verification is contemplated
* The Employer has to make a declaration in a specific format provided by EPFO for this campaign. The declaration shall be valid only in respect of employees who are alive. Further, no proceedings under Section – 7A of the EPF & MP Act, 1952 para – 26B of the EPF scheme, 1952 or para – 8 of the EPS scheme, 1995 should have been initiated against the establishment submitting the declaration.
* The Employer has to bear the interest under section – 7Q for the contribution he makes in respect of the declared employees[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
