The PIA President also pointedly informed the Delegates that a majority of the machine tools production of the country was produced in Peenya, which showcased its superior capabilities and expressed his willingness on behalf of PIA to play the role of a facilitator for representatives of Czech companies interested to network with industries in Peenya.
Thanking the industry representatives for their initiative to strengthen bilateral agreements, Mr. Peter Milata from Beznoska said there was huge scope for improving the business ties, which right now was at a low base. While exports from India to Czech Republic was 0.73%, the corresponding figure for exports from Czech to India was 0.62%. A beginning could be made to strengthen bilateral cooperation and mutual business ties by encouraging more people to people contact between the two countries, he suggested, pointing out that as many as 66,000 Indians visited the Czech Republic annually.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
